Reflections at the Exploratorium

Hello, 

I am the math and science teacher for this year’s San Francisco Chinatown YMCA summer school program. I belong to the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honor society, and I like math very much. I’m looking forward to teaching your children. We will be focusing on scientific literacy, problem solving skills and making connections between what students are learning and exciting careers.

NB - Wendell Waxmoe is the name of the crazy substitute teacher who appears in Scat by Carl Hiaasen which is a hysterical mystery novel for kids set in Florida's everglades.
